My friend and fellow EFCA pastor Steve Sorensen has just come out with a book called Growing Up With Guns. 

Steve is such an avid hunter that his website is called EverydayHunter.com.  He says that when he isn't hunting, "he’s thinking about hunting, talking about hunting, dreaming about hunting, writing about hunting, or wishing he were hunting." Steve knows what he's talking about--I've heard him speak at multiple sportsmen banquets and read many of his newspaper columns.

But his book isn't just about hunting. On his website he describes his book this way:

is a book about growing up in rural America. It’s a book about using guns responsibly, about hunting ethics and battling against hunter stereotypes, about conservation and hunting philosophy. I'm about halfway through my copy, and I'm enjoying it. While the bulk of it is about hunting, guns, conservation, etc, Steve has also woven in worldview meditations drawn from the Bible that he calls "Think About This."  Good stuff!
