Ed Welch on Sleep (overvalued, and while driving)

My favorite quote (not as deep as the rest, but pretty funny):

"Some of the sleep deprivation studies suggest that, though our bodies can tolerate sleep deprivation from the neck down, our brains don’t fare as well. The problem with these studies, however, is that they didn’t study insomniacs so much as they studied people who were aggressively deprived of sleep. Most of us don’t have someone blowing horns and shaking us every time we nod off, unless we are driving."
