Heather and I can't seem to turn this album off. It's only 6 songs, but we've both had it on a pretty continuous loop since we downloaded it yesterday.
I think the freshness of the sound and the sweetness of the lyrics are how they got into our hearts so fast. Read about this couple at Tim Challies's blog--they're EFCA!
We desire our music to be edifying to believers and evangelistic at some level to the hearts and imaginations of non-believers. Our desire for the album is also that it might serve as a stepping stone or launching point for other creative projects that will also seek to make truth beautiful. To the extent we see Christ as beautiful, our hearts are changed, which is what will ultimately save the world.
